Hollywood is mourning the loss of Angus Cloud.
The actor, born Conor Angus Cloud Hickey, rose to stardom on HBO’s Euphoria by playing warmhearted drug dealer Fezco. Sadly, he was confirmed dead on July 31 after Cloud’s family shared the news in a statement, which read: “It is with the heaviest heart that we had to say goodbye to an incredible human today. As an artist, a friend, a brother and a son, Angus was special to all of us in so many ways.”
Following the tragic news, many in Hollywood took to social media to honor the Euphoria fan favorite. In fact, co-star Javon Walton, who played Cloud’s little brother Ashtray on seasons one and two of the Zendaya-led drama, was the first of the cast to speak out on the tragedy.
Alongside a photo of themselves embracing, Walton simply wrote, “rest easy brother❤️🕊️.”
He also took to his Instagram Story to share another sweet photo, which included the message: “forever family ❤️.”
Storm Reid, who also starred on Euphoria with Cloud, wrote on her Instagram Story, “The tears just won’t stop.”
Kerry Washington also paid tribute to the late actor, writing on Twitter, “You will be deeply missed. Rest in Power @anguscloud.”
Grown-ish‘s Chloe Bailey weighed in, “wow angus cloud gone too soon.. rest in peace angel.”
Questlove honored Cloud’s beloved character, writing, “Fez was the spiritual center of Euphoria and definitely my fav character on the show. Love to his entire family and to those who knew him. #AngusCloud.”
