On July 31, Angus Cloud, known for his role in the HBO drama Euphoria, passed away at the age of 25.
But only two weeks before his death, the actor shared a tribute on social media dedicated to his father, who passed away this month as well.
While Cloud didn’t share much about his father’s death at the time, he posted a photo of him wearing a red tracksuit and smiling at the camera.
Cloud shared a simple yet meaningful message in the caption, writing, “miss u breh.”
At the time, friends and fans shared condolences in the comments for Cloud’s personal loss. Since the announcement of Cloud’s passing, many fans are now sharing condolences over both tragic losses as they react to the sad news.
Based on the statement shared by Cloud’s family, his father’s death really took a toll on him. In part, it read, “Last week he buried his father and intensely struggled with this loss. The only comfort we have is knowing Angus is now reunited with his dad, who was his best friend.”
Neither the late actor nor his family shared further details about his father’s death. While Cloud didn’t post about his personal life often on social media, he was clearly very close with his father.
Cloud’s family’s statement also highlighted the actor’s struggles with mental health, saying, “Angus was open about his battle with mental health and we hope that his passing can be a reminder to others that they are not alone and should not fight this on their own in silence.”
A cause of death has not been shared at time of posting.
