This summer has been a…dog. Between record-high temperatures and air pollution, the great outdoors hasn’t always felt so great.
But there’s still time to make the summer of 2023 sweet, thanks to Aldi. Social media heated up with buzz about a frozen favorite hitting the shelves over the weekend when Aldi announced its Aldi Finds on Instagram. One of the treasures? The cult-favorite Pie Bites. Here’s the scoop on the creamy, chocolatey, frozen goodies (in bite-size format).

The Aldi Pie Bites Are Back

“The Pie Bites are back this week for only $4.99,” Aldi announced. The post’s caption read, “Those Pie Bites are calling our name.”
For the Aldi newbies, the Pie Bites are small squares of chocolate-covered deliciousness. There’s a graham cracker crust, a creamy filling and then the crispy chocolate coating. They’re available in coconut cream, banana cream and key lime.
The Instagram announcement was a welcome soundbite for the Internet.
“The Pie Bites are DELICIOUS,” wrote an Instagram commenter.
“The key lime bites are bomb,” said another.
“The coconut bites are [fire],” said a third.
Reddit is also rejoicing.

“Yep…get ’em,” wrote u/yozzomp in the Aldi subreddit, showing off a box of the Key Lime-flavored Pie Bites.
Everyone seems to have their go-to flavor.
“Got the coconut ones,” said one proud fan. “They taste like a frozen Almond Joy.”
“These are so good, as are the banana ones,” said another.
“The banana ones are to freaking die for,” raved someone else.
Others will be stocking up on all three, a move we fully support.
“Every flavor of these is so good,” a Redditor noted.
Some posters were what we’ll call “Pie Bite curious.”
“In the Florida Keys, they sell a frozen slice of key lime pie on a stick dunked in chocolate,” a person said. “It’s so good. If this is even a whisper of that, I’m in.”
“These tempt me every time. I love key lime anything,” wrote another.
“I almost bought those yesterday…and the coconut ones,” said someone else.
The thread converted at least one person.
“This just pushed me over the edge of hesitation—will purchase next run, and thank you,” wrote the soon-to-be-fan.
