Charity Lawson has taken a sincere-yet-decisive approach to The Bachelorette. Dates and activities have been interesting but not too dramatic, especially after Brayden’s departure. Definitely more engaging than last season of Bachelor when Zach Shallcross took the most boring possible route.
Charity seemed to make immediate connections with a handful of the 20 suitors vying for her final rose, but there is one who has stood out in more ways than one—Dotun Olubeko, the 6-foot-7 Nigerian immigrant who towers over the petite child and family therapist.
Rumors have been flying for weeks that Dotun made it to Charity’s final four but notable Bachelor spoiler expert Reality Steve seems to have confirmed social media speculation.
Here’s what we know so far abut who Charity Lawson picks on The Bachelorette.
Who does Charity Lawson pick on The Bachelorette 2023?
Dotun Olubeko
Bachelor franchise spoiler expert Reality Steve claims that Dotun is THE ONE and it’s no surprise. Fans saw Charity invite him to her hotel room for a deep chat. Dotun complimented Charity’s confidence, saying, “You’re someone I can learn from.” Charity was visibly moved, shedding tears and telling Dotun, “I don’t get told stuff like that.” She added in confessional about the towering hunk, “No one has talked about me that way ever.”
What do we know about Dotun?
The 30-year-old lives in Brooklyn, but grew up in California. His family immigrated to the United States when he was 4. In his Bachelorette intro, he said, “We came here with nothing, but my parents took on whatever job they could. They’ve done really well to give me a life that I’m happy to live so it’s been a really humbling experience.”
Is Charity from The Bachelorette Season 20 engaged?
All signs point to yes. According to Reality Steve, “Anything people who want Joey to win want to conjure up in their head is just guessing and speculation. She got engaged to Dotun in Fiji and they’ve been together ever since.”
Why do fans think Charity will choose Dotun as her man?
Charity and Dotun might have accidentally spilled the beans themselves with synergetic clues! Earlier in July, Charity put up an Instagram Story showing two drinks and a candle on top of a table in a room. Sharp-eyed The Bachelorette fans guessed it was Dutch Fred’s restaurant in New York. One day later, Dotun also posted an Instagram Story displaying appetizers at Dutch Fred’s. Although Dotun swiftly deleted his post, Reality Steve tweeted a screenshot of it.
Yes, he deleted it pretty quickly. This is what he posted. https://t.co/QM71ezE05D pic.twitter.com/QwAcjjrASp

Is there other evidence Dotun could win?
Charity’s beloved and protective brother, Nehemiah Lawson, who appeared on The Bachelorette premiere, follows Dotun on Instagram. Also, Charity started following Nigerian singer/songwriter Tems after Dotun was already a follower.
What else makes fans think Dotun could be ‘the one’ for Charity?
A Reddit user has posted video claiming it shows Dotun “sitting down with producers” when the final few men were in Fiji with Charity in April. “The last clip is taken from super far away but that’s Dotun,” the Reddit informant insists. “I know, I know it’s super grainy and far but it’s him. The source matched him to Dotun’s head shot. It’s hard to tell, but it’s him and they said he’s insanely tall. It’s Dotun and our source swears by it.”
Who is in Charity’s Top 4 on The Bachelorette Season 20?
According to Reality Steve, Charity Lawson’s final four suitors will be Dotun Olubeko, 30, an integrative medicine specialist from Brooklyn, New York; Joey Graziadei, 27, a tennis pro from Koloa, Hawaii; Xavier Bonner, 27, a biomedical scientist from Euclid, Ohio; and Aaron Bryant, 29, a software salesman from Katy, Texas.
Who else stands out in Charity’s final four?
According to the Reddit spoiler, Aaron was supposedly spotted with Charity in Fiji in April. “It’s super hard to see in this low quality grainy video but my ‘team’ has a source who was on the ground in person and claims the guy walking on the beach for B-roll footage is Aaron Bryant,” the Redditor wrote. “When he turns around toward the end of the first clip, you can see the shape of his head which is a distinct shape, unique to Aaron. The source who was there in person is confident it’s him.”
Reality Steve has contended, however, that Aaron isn’t Charity’s final pick, because he’s been spotted filming as a cast member for the upcoming Bachelor in Paradise season 9!
“I will say it. Aaron didn’t win,” Reality Steve noted in a podcast.
